EDAWN

Kevin Annis, CCIM - Broker/Principal

EDAWN, Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, has gotten lots of recognition recently about the companies that they have successfully recruited to Northern Nevada, and rightfully so. However, one division of EDAWN that is equally as important to the sustainable growth of our economy is focused on company retention and expansion. Northern Nevada is an incredible place to live and do business and Northern Nevadans are so very lucky to have such a wonderful group of people at EDAWN. ArchCrest Commercial Partners looks forward to seeing future announcements in the next couple years as we continue to grow.

We would like to congratulate the winners that were announced at the existing industry awards. This is a great cross section of companies and are a wonderful representation of some of the best companies in Northern Nevada.

EDAWN, Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, is a private/public established in 1983 with the goal of recruiting, expanding and supporting newly forming quality companies that bring jobs and have a positive impact on the quality of life in the Great Reno-Sparks region. EDAWN held their 4th Annual EDAWN Existing Industry Awards event yesterday. While new companies coming to the area often receive the most attention and media covered, EDAWN uses this event to as a way to highlight and recognize the existing companies already in the Reno-Sparks area. “Retention and support of our existing industry is the most important thing we can do for economic development in the region,” said Mike Kazmierski, CEO of EDAWN.

The event was attended by dignitaries, community guests and title sponsors Dermody Properties and United Construction.
